For the second year in the row we spent the month of October spreading breast cancer awareness and without a shadow of a doubt, it was a success!

 

We hosted tons of events, had multiple speaking engagements, and built a community of women who helped us along the way. With the help of our community, tgin raised over $35,000 and donated the proceeds to the Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force, an organization that helps women of color diagnosed with breast cancer in underserved communities find appropriate health care to increase their chance of survival.

 

Breast Cancer Awareness month is over, but our fight is still ongoing! You can continue to support the cause by making online donations to the tgin foundation.

Little did I know – there was much more in store. During the height of building my company, I learned that I had breast cancer. It’s nothing short of a blessing that I now have the opportunity to spread awareness with my platform.
